Una linea incisa sulla superficie del limone ne percorre il volume, lo divide, lo inscrive all’interno di una geometria razionale e ne trasforma il significato. Pensavo alla grafica, al design e a come si comportano. Pensavo alla semplicità con cui si riesce a smascherare la natura polivalente delle cose, rivelando connessioni improbabili. Quanti altri significati possono intercorrere tra un limone e una pallina da tennis? Quest’opera li racchiude tutti. È una questione di attivazione.

It is an insight that encapsulates, through the metaphor of play, the way by which man approaches and transforms nature, making it an object. A line etched on the surface of the lemon runs through its volume, dividing it, inscribing it within a rational geometry and transforming its meaning. I was thinking about graphics and design and how they behave. I was observing the simplicity with which one can unmask the polyvalent nature of things, revealing unlikely connections. How many other meanings can exist between a lemon and a tennis ball? This work encloses them all. It is a matter of activation.
